Centerra Gold gains on obtaining EIA approval for Turkiye mine

** Shares of gold miner Centerra Gold Inc  CG.TO  up 16.4%
at C$8.16
    ** Stock set for best day in about eight months, if gains
hold
    ** Co obtains Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) approval
from the environment ministry for the Oksut mine in Turkiye
    ** Expects to restart full operations at the mine in the
coming weeks
     ** In March 2022, CG had suspended gold dore bar production
at the Oksut mine after mercury was detected in the gold room;
dore bars are composed of a mixture of precious metals,
including gold and silver
    ** CG shares have gained 16.3% YTD, including sessions gains
