British Gas owner Centrica posts 18% lower interim profit July 23 (Reuters) - British Gas owner Centrica CNA.L on Thursday reported an 18% drop in half-year adjusted core profit, hit by some asset disposals and production outages, with unfavourable weather and weak market conditions also pressuring margins.
