Centrica appoints Non-Executive Director

Centrica plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Chanderpreet Duggal as
a Non-Executive Director of the Company with effect from 16 December 2022,
whereupon he will also become a member of the Company's Audit & Risk
Committee, Remuneration Committee and Nominations Committee.

Scott Wheway, Chairman, said: "I look forward to welcoming Chanderpreet to the
Board next week as a Non-Executive Director.  Chanderpreet will bring
valuable expertise of digital technology and the use of data analytics in
large customer facing businesses that will be of great benefit to the Board."

1.            This announcement is made pursuant to Listing Rule
9.6.11R.  There is no further information to be disclosed pursuant to Listing
Rules 9.6.13R (1) to 9.6.13R (6) inclusive.
