U.S. main stock indexes slipped on Wednesday as comments from certain Federal
Reserve officials exacerbated worries that the central bank will keep hiking
interest rates this year.  .N 
    At 10:32 a.m. ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average  .DJI  was down 0.34% at
34,042.25. The S&P 500  .SPX  was down 0.70% at 4,134.93 and the Nasdaq
Composite  .IXIC  was down 1.06% at 11,985.98.
