German stocks - Factors to watch on October 7

BERLIN/FRANKFURT, Oct 7 (Reuters) - The following are some
of the factors that may move German stocks on Wednesday:
            
    CORONAVIRUS
    The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Germany
increased by 2,828 to 306,086, data from the Robert Koch
Institute (RKI) for infectious diseases showed on Wednesday.

    Germany's capital decided late on Tuesday to impose a
late-night curfew on restaurants and bars to contain surging
numbers of new coronavirus cases in Berlin. Financial hub

    CONTINENTAL  CONG.DE  
    The automotive supplier plans to sell some assets, including
parts of its division Vitesco Technologies, as part of its
savings drive, Chief Executive Elmar Degenhart told Frankfurter
Allgemeine Zeitung in an interview, adding he would not rule out
sales at industrial business Contitech.
        
    WIRECARD  WDIG.DE 
    The insolvent payment services provider's lenders did not
have access to auditors' reports by EY, Boersen-Zeitung
reported, citing people at several of the 15 banks that provided
a total 1.76 billion euros of financing to Wirecard. The banks,
including ABN AMRO  ABNd.AS , Commerzbank  CBKG.DE , ING
 INGA.AS  and LBBW  LBWGN.UL , declined to comment to the paper.
