Australia's BOQ rises on deal to reduce debt funding

** Bank of Queensland BOQ.AX rises as much as 4.9% to A$7.13, highest since February 13

** Co announces capital partnership with investment manager Challenger CGF.AX; CGF down 1.6%

** Deal includes A$3.7 bln ($2.56 bln) whole-of-loan sale, which is expected to reduce debt funding by A$3.4 bln

** Lender says deal will help return A$300 mln to shareholders post-sale through buyback, special dividend

** YTD, BOQ up 9.2%
