** Shares in listed units of China's Potevio Group and China
Electronics Technology Group Corporation climb after the two cos
engaged in a merger deal 
    ** China's Potevio Group will be merged into China
Electronics Technology Group Corporation to become the latter's
wholly owned unit, State Owned Asset Supervision and
Administration Commission of the State Council 
    ** Chengdu Putian Telecommunications Cable Co Ltd  1202.HK 
soars as much as 37.8% before paring gains 
    ** GCI Science & Technology Co Ltd  002544.SZ , a unit of
China Electronics Technology Group, jumps by 10% daily trade
limit 
    ** Their other units Eastern Communications Co Ltd
 600776.SS , Eastcompeace Technology Co Ltd  002017.SZ ,
Hangzhou Hikvision Digital Technology Co Ltd  002415.SZ , and 
Shanghai East-China Computer Co Ltd  600850.SS  rise between
1.3% and 2.2%
