HOUSTON, Aug 26 (Reuters) - Cheniere Energy's LNG.N Corpus Christi liquefied natural gas export plant in Texas returned to full production after undergoing planned maintenance, the company confirmed on Wednesday.
Natural gas deliveries to the facility rose to about 2.5 billion cubic feet per day on Wednesday, according to preliminary data from financial firm LSEG, the highest level in 10 days.
Cheniere had confirmed on Monday that the plant, the third-largest LNG export facility in the U.S., was undergoing planned maintenance.
The increase in feedgas flows to Corpus Christi boosted gas demand from U.S. LNG export plants, with total feedgas deliveries on track to reach 17.3 bcfd on Wednesday, the highest level in more than a week, LSEG data showed.
The U.S. is the world's largest LNG exporter, and global gas markets have been contending with reduced LNG supplies following disruptions tied to the war in Iran.
Cheniere said on Wednesday that maintenance at the facility has been completed.
