Aug 6 (Reuters) - Cheniere Energy LNG.N reported a rise in second-quarter profit on Thursday, helped by increased demand for liquefied natural gas (LNG).
The Houston, Texas-based company posted a net income of $3.07 billion for the quarter ended June 30, compared with $1.63 billion in the previous year.
