China's Chery Automobile slips on lower December sales

** Shares of Chery Automobile 9973.HK slip 2.3% to HK$30.16, on course for the biggest one-day pct fall since Dec 8

** The Chinese automaker said its total sales volume of its five major brands for December 2025 was 232,308 units of vehicles, down 16% y/y

** For the whole of 2025, the total sales volume was 2.63 mln units of vehicles, up 8% y/y

** Since debut on Sept 25, Chery shares slip 1.2% so far from the offer price of HK$30.75 apiece

** In 2025, Hang Seng Automobile Index .HSAMI up 2.1%
