Nissan held talks with China's Chery on building cars in Sunderland, FT reports
April 16 (Reuters) - Nissan 7201.T has held talks with China's Chery 9973.HK about building cars at the Japanese automaker's Sunderland plant, the Financial Times reported on Thursday. Nissan recently discussed a partnership with Chery to boost the utilisation rate of its Sunderland factory, which is operating at about 50%, the report said, citing four people with knowledge of the talks.
