SINGAPORE, April 19 (Reuters) - China Aviation Oil
(Singapore) Corporation Ltd CNAO.SI , the sole supplier of
imported jet fuel to China's civil aviation industry, reported a
4.7 percent rise in its first-quarter profit to $25.3 million.
The company, which is also the largest physical jet fuel
trader in the Asia-Pacific region, has been riding on booming
Chinese demand for air travel.
"With strong growth prospects in the civil aviation
industry in China and international markets, CAO remains focused
on further expanding our aviation marketing business beyond
China and to diversify its business activities," Meng Fanqiu,
chief executive officer, said in a statement.
