Crop trader COFCO International's sales fall further in 2025
Crop trader COFCO International's sales fall further in 2025 PARIS, June 24 (Reuters) - COFCO International recorded a further decline in annual revenue and volumes last year, the Chinese-owned agricultural commodity merchant said in a sustainability report published on Wednesday.
The company's 2025 revenue reached $34.5 billion, compared with $38.5 billion the previous year, according to the report.
Sales volumes to third parties dropped to 100.4 million metric tons, from 108.4 million tons a year earlier.
The company did not detail reasons for the sales drop, which followed a fall in 2024.
Prices for staple crops like corn and wheat have fallen in the past three years against a backdrop of ample global supply, curbing earnings for global merchants including Bunge Global BG.N and Louis Dreyfus Company.
