** Shares of Leigh Creek Energy Ltd  LCK.AX  rise 10% to
A$0.165, in their biggest intraday pct gain since Dec. 2
    ** Gas co says it entered its first overseas JV deal with
China New Energy Group  1156.HK , a China-based co involved in

    ** Under deal, co will provide in-situ gasification (ISG),
project management and consultancy services to China New Energy 
    ** Says deal will generate revenue stream while it focuses
on progressing its key Leigh Creek energy project
    ** As of the previous close, stock had fallen 3.23% this
year
