HK-listed Chinasoft Int'l hits 5-month high on BYD tie-up for vehicle systems

** Shares of Chinese information technology services
provider Chinasoft International Ltd  0354.HK  rise as much as
4.3% to HK$8.44, their highest since Jan. 26
    ** Stock on course to finish the month up 12.3%, best
monthly gain since June 2021. 
    ** Beijing-based firm says it has teamed up with BYD Auto
Industry Co Ltd to develop intelligent connected vehicle systems
and to accelerate the intelligent upgrade of the automotive
industry as it expands its automotive software business.

    ** The Hang Seng Commerce & Industry Index  .HSNC  slips
0.2% and the Hang Seng Tech Index  .HSTECH  eases 0.1%
    ** The Hang Seng Composite Index  .HSCI  gains 0.1% and the
benchmark Hang Seng Index  .HSI  edges up 0.03%
    ** As of last close, the stock had fallen 20.4% this year
