white-collar employees in an effort to cut costs and avoid a
credit-rating cut in the midst of a strike by its largest union.
- AT&T T.N agreed to remove 8 miles of lead-covered cables
from Lake Tahoe, following a protracted legal battle with an
environmental group over their removal, according to court
documents.
- GameStop GME.N CEO Ryan Cohen agreed to pay a nearly $1
million penalty to settle the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's
claim that he failed to report acquisition of more than $100
million worth of Wells Fargo & Co WFC.N voting shares.
- The independent directors of genetic testing firm 23andMe
ME.O said on Tuesday they have resigned from the company's
board after not receiving a satisfactory take-private offer from
