U.S. stock index futures were subdued on Wednesday as skittish investors waited
for the Federal Reserve to cut interest rates for the first time in more than
four years, with most traders betting on a half-percentage-point reduction.  .N 
    
    At 7:32 ET, Dow e-minis  1YMc1  were up 0.14% at 41,698. S&P 500 e-minis
 ESc1  were up 0.15% at 5,647.25, while Nasdaq 100 e-minis  NQc1  were up 0.22%
at 19,482.25.
