August 27 (Reuters) - The tech-heavy Nasdaq outperformed peers on Thursday after Nvidia's blockbuster results reaffirmed the strength of the AI boom and fueled gains in technology stocks. .N
     
At 13:31 EDT, the Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI was up 0.38% at 53,664.85.The S&P 500 .SPX was up 0.78% at 7,735.35 and the Nasdaq Composite .IXIC was up 1.49% at 26,518.89.
