TOKYO, Dec 16 (Reuters) - Kansai Electric Power  9503.T 
shut the 1,180 megawatt (MW) No. 4 reactor at its Ohi nuclear
power plant in western Japan on Saturday for scheduled
maintenance and refuelling, a company spokesperson said.
    The utility plans to restart the reactor in mid-February, a
spokesperson said on Monday.
    Meanwhile, Chugoku Electric Power  9504.T  temporarily
halted operations of the 820 MW No.2 reactor at its Shimane
nuclear power station in western Japan after restarting it on
Dec. 7 for the first time in about 13 years, a company
spokesperson said.
    The company plans to restart the unit on Dec. 23 after
completing safety inspections of facilities and equipment, the
spokesperson said. 
    As of Monday, Japan has 11 operating reactors with a total
capacity of 10,427 MW.
    Many companies are still going through a re-licensing
process to comply with stricter safety standards imposed after
the 2011 Fukushima disaster. The companies had 54 operational
reactors before it.
    The table below shows the status of Japan's nuclear power
plants.
    The regional utilities are: Chubu Electric Power  9502.T ,

    They are referred to in the table by their regional names. 
    Japan Atomic Power Company (Japco), a nuclear energy
