** Shares of T-Mobile US TMUS.O were up about 1% in afternoon
trading Wed, with the telecom co expected to report a rise in
rev in its third-quarter results due after the closing bell
** Rival AT&T T.N reported earlier Wed that it gained more
wireless subscribers than expected in the third quarter, and its
shares were last up about 4%; Verizon VZ.N on Tues projected
2025 capital spending above market estimates and its shares fell
** Investors will be looking to see whether consumers are
moving to T-Mobile's cheaper plans and 5G services
** Analysts expect T-Mobile to report quarterly revenue
rising to $20.01 bln in the quarter vs $19.25 bln a yr ago and
to report EPS of $2.42 vs $1.82 a yr ago, according to LSEG
** The breakdown of analyst recommendations for T-Mobile are
25 "strong buy" or "buy," four "hold" and one "sell," per LSEG.
** The median 12-mo price target is $220; the stock was last
at $221.16.
** Including the session move, TMUS is up ~38% YTD vs Nasdaq
Composite Index's .IXIC roughly >21% increase.
