Ciena rises after announcing $1 bln share buyback plan

** Shares of networking systems firm Ciena  CIEN.N  up 4.2%
at $64.04 in early trading
    ** Co says it will buy back shares worth up to $1 bln from
FY25 to FY27
    ** CIEN says share buyback will be funded through cash on
hand and from operations
    ** Including session's move, CIEN is up 42.3% YTD
