U.S. stock index futures were mixed on Thursday, in light trading on the
penultimate trading day of 2023, even as benchmark S&P 500 hovers around its
all-time high on hopes of early interest rate cuts next year.  .N 
    
    At 7:08 ET, Dow e-minis  1YMc1  were down 0.18% at 37,939. S&P 500 e-minis
 ESc1  were down 0.02% at 4,832.75, while Nasdaq 100 e-minis  NQc1  were up
0.21% at 17,149.75.
