** Shares of Unifirst UNF.N up ~9% at $281 premarket, after uniform retailer Cintas CTAS.O agrees to buy smaller rival in cash-and-stock deal valued at $5.5 bln

** CTAS has offered total of $310.00 per share, representing premium of about 20% to UniFirst's last close

** CTAS down 1.8% after the announcement

** Deal comes after UniFirst rebuffed Cincinnati-based suitor's previous approaches

** As of last close, UNF stock up 33.7% YTD, following 12.7% rise in 2025
