- British shadow chancellor Rachel Reeves said that Labour
would seek a deal to reduce checks on British food exports and
closer alignment with some European Union rules as part of a
renegotiation of the Brexit trade deal.
The Guardian
- British Brexit campaigner Nigel Farage has launched the
Reform UK manifesto with a number of populist pledges including
proposed spending of 141 billion pounds ($179.03 billion) a year
as the rightwing party seeks to make inroads into Labour
heartlands.
- Paris has lost its position as Europe's largest equity
market to London, as investors reacted to political turmoil in
