The S&P 500 and the Nasdaq slipped on Wednesday as growth stocks lost ground,
while banks gained ahead of a Federal Reserve policy decision expected to result
in the biggest interest rate hike since 2000.  .N 
    At 11:46 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average  .DJI  was down 0.17% at
33,070.92. The S&P 500  .SPX  was down 0.57% at 4,151.5 and the Nasdaq Composite
 .IXIC  was down 1.54% at 12,370.144.
