Spanish stocks - Factors to watch on Sept 9

FERROVIAL FERF.AS

Casa Grande de Cartagena, the Del Pino family office, has put up for sale about 3.4 million Ferrovial shares, a stake equivalent to about 0.4%, through Goldman Sachs at a price of about 46.61 euros per share, newspaper Expansion reported on Tuesday.

INDRA IDR.MC

Indra is preparing a new strategic plan to capitalise on the expected defence spending increase, Spanish newspaper Expansion reported on Tuesday citing unnamed sources.

Separately, the company said on Monday it had completed the buyback program of 0.13% of its share capital.

CIRSA CIRSA.MC

Spanish gambling company Cirsa said on Tuesday its second quarter net profit fell 11%, as its casino business was hit by what it called an "unusually adverse" foreign exchange effect.

TELEFONICA TEF.MC

Several Chilean operators have submitted non-binding bids for Telefonica's Chilean subsidiary, which is reportedly up for sale as part of the company's divestment process in Latin America, Spanish newspaper Cinco Dias reported on Tuesday, citing Chilean media.
