** Co raises FY 2025 same-store sales growth forecast to mid- to high-single digits vs. previous outlook of mid-single digit growth

** CTRN reports 890 basis point increase in quarterly gross margin from last year

** Second-quarter comparable store sales rises 9.2% yr/yr

** Strong sales in the qtr driven by introduction of trendier products and strong value-for-money discounts that boost store traffic

** Up to last close, stock up about 30% YTD
