Australia's City Chic extends gains as billionaire Blundy buys stake

** Shares of City Chic Collective Ltd  CCX.AX  surge as much
as 16.4% to A$0.745 - their highest since Dec. 7
    ** CCX closed 16.4% higher on Wednesday after it said 
Australian billionaire Brett Blundy and associate entities had
taken a 7.3% stake in the company
    ** Shares up for a fourth consecutive session, post their
biggest intraday pct gain since Jan. 12
    ** More than 7.1 mln shares change hands, vs the 30-day
average volume of 4.5 mln shares
    ** Stock up 34.7% this year, as of last close
