S.Korea buys copper and aluminium for October

SEOUL, Aug 1 (Reuters) - South Korea bought 1,000 tonnes of copper and 1,000
tonnes of aluminium for October arrival via tenders that closed on Tuesday,
state-run Public Procurement Service said on its website (http://www.g2b.go.kr).
    Details of the  purchases are as follow:
    
    --Copper purchase
    TONNES(M/T)   ORIGIN       SUPPLIER/PREMIUM (PER TONNE)
          1,000   Chile        CJ Logistics Corp/$68
    
    --Aluminium purchase
    TONNES(M/T)   ORIGIN       SUPPLIER/PREMIUM (PER TONNE)
          1,000   Worldwide    Onse International Ltd/$70
        
    *Note: The above premiums were made over London Metal Exchange (LME) prices.
The copper products should be delivered by Oct. 31 at the port of Busan, while
the aluminium products should be delivered by Oct. 18 at the port of Busan.
