Wall Street's main stock indexes struggled for direction on Tuesday, as traders
held on to bets of rate cuts by the Federal Reserve in the coming months, even
as consumer prices data came in hotter than expected. .N

ESc1 were up 0.33% at 5,139.75, while Nasdaq 100 e-minis NQc1 were up 0.39%
at 18,041.5.
