** Shares of Chinese vaccines developer Clover
Biopharmaceuticals Ltd  2197.HK  rise as much as 7.6% to
HK$2.84, their biggest daily pct gain since July 11
    ** Sichuan-based Clover announces positive phase 2/3 results
in adolescents for COVID-19 vaccine, and says it plans to submit
the data and seek licensure in adolescents from global

    ** Says it is in addition to the submissions made to the
China National Medical Products Administration, the European
Medicines Agency, and the World Health Organization to broaden
the potential use of SCB-2019 (CpG 1018/Alum) across age groups
and as a universal COVID-19 booster vaccine
    ** The Hang Seng Commerce & Industry Index  .HSNC  gains
0.9% and healthcare index  .HSCIH  surges 2.6%
    ** The Hang Seng Composite Index  .HSCI  and Hang Seng Index
 .HSI  both climb 0.7%
    ** As of last close, the stock had dropped 80.6% this year
