Appointment of Executive Director
CML Microsystems Plc, ("the Group"), which designs, manufactures and markets a broad range of semiconductors, primarily for global industrial and professional communication and data storage markets is pleased to announce the appointment of Neil Pritchard as Group Financial Director. The appointment will take effect from 19th January 2015, at which time the current Group Financial Director, Nigel Clark, will transition to the role of Non-Executive Chairman.
Neil joins CML from the 400m turnover UK division of the DAX listed automotive products group, Continental AG, where he has held the position of Finance Director for the UK & Eire since 2008. Prior roles include Group Financial Controller at multinational London Stock Exchange listed Delta PLC (acquired by US company Valmont Industries in 2010) and Group Finance Manager at FTSE-250 multinational speciality chemicals group, Yule Catto & Co PLC (now renamed Synthomer PLC). Neil is a qualified chartered accountant, holding an ACA, having spent 6 years with KPMG London in audit and forensic transaction services roles. He holds an Economics and Politics degree from the University of Bath.
