Corrected: Iveco's operating profit rises in Q4 on strong pricing power, volumes, mix

MILAN, Feb 10 (Reuters) - Truckmaker Iveco Group
IVG.MI said on Friday its operating profit of industrial
activities more than quadrupled in the fourth quarter of last
year, on the back of strong pricing power, higher volume and
better product mix.
The Italian manufacturer said that its adjusted earnings
before interest and tax (EBIT) of industrial activities amounted
to 187 million euros ($201 million) in the October-December
quarter, versus a 43 million euro pro-forma result in the same
period of 2021, when it was still part of former parent group
CNH Industrial CNHI.MI .
That compares with an analyst consensus of 96 million euros
provided by Intesa Sanpaolo.
