** Indian shrimp exporters Avanti Feeds AVNT.NS and Apex Frozen APEX.NS jump 5.2% and 9.5% respectively; Coastal Corporation  COAS.NS surges 20%

** India and the U.S. are nearing trade agreement that would reduce tariffs on Indian shipments to 15% to 16% from 50% - Mint report

** The U.S. accounted for 53% of exports sales for APEX, as of FY25; North America contributed to 65.4% of total sales for AVNT, as of Q1FY25

** India's Ministry of Commerce and Industry and the White House did not immediately respond to Reuters' requests for comments

** YTD, AVNT up 6.5%; APEX, COAS down 7.4%, 15.6%
