** Shares of India's Cochin Shipyard COCH.NS jumps 5.5% to 1550 rupees

** Shipbuilder wins contract worth 50 billion rupees ($551.02 million) from the Ministry of Defence

** Contract for construction of five Next Generation Survey Vessels (NGSV) for the Indian Navy

** Stock on track to snap four sessions of losses

** Trading vols at 1.5 mln shares vs 30-day-trading volume of 859,681 shares

** COCH gained 5.3% in 2025, stock down 9.3% so far in 2026
