Wall Street's main stock indexes inched up on Wednesday, as
investors steered clear of placing big bets ahead of an interest
rate decision by the Federal Reserve later in the day.  .N 
    At 10:33 a.m. ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average  .DJI 
was up 0.41% at 34,249.59. The S&P 500  .SPX  was up 0.52% at
4,041.02, and the Nasdaq Composite  .IXIC  was up 0.44% at
11,306.275.
