** Shares of gold and copper explorer Comet Resources
 CRL.AX  climb as much as 16.7% to A$0.028, the highest since
Feb. 25
    ** Co says it acquired highly prospective copper-gold
project in Northern Territory from Bath Resources Pty Ltd

Copper-Zinc Project, Paradise Well copper-gold prospect and the

    ** Stocks posts its biggest intraday percentage gain since

gain
    ** About 18.2 mln shares change hands compared to the 30-day
average volume of 11.7 mln shares
    ** CRL has risen 20% this year, as of last close
