May 13 (Reuters) - Commonwealth Bank of Australia CBA.AX reported a rise in third-quarter cash earnings on Wednesday, helped by robust growth in lending and deposit volumes.
The country's biggest lender said cash net profit after tax was about A$2.7 billion ($1.95 billion) for the three months ended March 31, compared with about A$2.6 billion a year earlier.
That was 1% below the quarterly average of the first six months.
