SAINT-GOBAIN STRENGTHENS its presence

in insulation in argentina

Saint-Gobain has completed the acquisition of Termica San Luis, a leader in
stone wool insulation in Argentina.

Termica San Luis is a family-owned business with over 70 years of experience
in insulation. It is the leading producer of stone wool in Argentina, having
pioneered its production in the country. Termica San Luis employs 40 people at
one plant in the San Luis province, who will join the 800 Saint-Gobain
employees in Argentina.

The acquisition allows Saint-Gobain to strengthen its presence in the
insulation market, enhancing its range of solutions for customers thanks to
the combination of its position in glass wool insulation with that of Termica
San Luis in stone wool.

With sales of over €300 million and the strong profitable growth achieved
over many years, Saint-Gobain holds the leading position in sustainable
construction in Argentina, providing its customers with the widest market
range from comprehensive insulation solutions, to construction chemicals (tile
fixings, waterproofing, façade coatings), plasterboard and plaster.

The acquisition is in line with Saint-Gobain's "Grow & Impact" strategy
aiming to both strengthen the Group's leadership and accelerate its growth by
enriching its range of solutions for light and sustainable construction.
