** Shares of Compagnie des Alpes CDAF.PA rise around 6% after the French operator of ski resorts and theme parks has won a 25-year contract for operating the world's biggest ski resort, La Plagne

** The contract's turnover is estimated at 5 billion euros ($5.79 billion) over its term, almost doubling the company's backlog

** "The tender process had been competitive and had raised concerns at the end of 2024," an analyst at Portzamparc says in a note
