Brazil utility Sabesp authorized to lift tariffs

SAO PAULO, April 8 (Reuters) - Brazilian water and
sanitation utility Sabesp  SBSP3.SA  said on Monday that the Sao
Paulo State Public Services Regulatory Agency (Arsesp) had
authorized it to raise tariffs by 6.4469% from the current
levels.
    The resolution with the new tariff tables will be published
in the Official Gazette of the State of Sao Paulo and will come
into effect on May 10, Sabesp said in a securities filing.
