       Oct 17 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers,
acquisitions and disposals were reported by 2000 GMT on
Thursday:
       
    ** BP  BP.L  is considering selling a minority stake in its
offshore wind business, according to four sources with knowledge
of the matter, the latest effort by CEO Murray Auchincloss to
scale back the energy company's focus on renewables.

    **  Italian gas grid operator Snam  SRG.MI  will fold its
50% stake in a carbon capture and storage (CCS) project in the
Adriatic into Eni's  ENI.MI  CCS unit, Snam CEO said, adding the

    ** Fuji Soft  9749.T  founder and shareholder Hiroshi Nozawa
said in a letter to the company, seen by Reuters, that he

Arnault has teamed up with energy drinks company Red Bull to buy

    ** Billing software firm Zuora  ZUO.N  said on Thursday it
has agreed to be acquired by buyout firm Silver Lake and

    ** A consortium led by French private equity firm PAI
Partners has submitted a new, higher offer for Sanofi's
 SASY.PA  consumer health business Opella, a source close to the

    ** Brazilian steelmaker CSN's  CSNA3.SA  deal to sell a
stake in CSN Mineracao  CMIN3.SA  to Japan's Itochu  8001.T 
implies a 26% premium over the previous closing price for shares

    ** PPG Industries  PPG.N  said it would sell its
architectural coatings business in the U.S. and Canada to
American Industrial Partners for about $550 million.

for a controlling stake in Motivair Corp, a specialist in liquid
cooling for high-performance computing, the French firm said,

    ** Spanish steel maker Sidenor sent a letter stating it was
considering a tender offer for part or all the shares of train
manufacturer Talgo  TLGO.MC , the latter said late on Wednesday
