Compass Group PLC (the "Company") announces the following change in the interests of a Director in ordinary shares of 10 5/8 pence each in the share capital of the Company ("Shares").
On 6 August 2014, Paul Walsh, Chairman, purchased 2,000 Shares in the Company at a price of 956.00 pence each per Share. 
Following this purchase, Paul Walsh's shareholding has increased to 11,411 Shares, representing 0.00067% of the Company's issued share capital.
