NOTIFICATION OF TRANSACTIONS OF DIRECTORS/PERSONS DISCHARGING MANAGERIAL RESPONSIBILITY AND CONNECTED PERSONS
Compass Group PLC (the "Company") announces the following change in the interests of a Director in ordinary shares of 10 5/8 pence each in the share capital of the Company ("Shares").
On 19 August 2014, Mr John Bason, Non-Executive Director, purchased 1,734 Shares at a price of 972.82 pence per Share and 825 Shares at a price of 973.00 pence per Share through two separate personal ISAs. 
Additionally, on 19 August 2014, Mrs Catherine Bason purchased 87 Shares at a price of 973.50 pence per Share through a personal ISA. Mrs Bason is the spouse of Mr John Bason and a connected person.
Following these transactions, Mr Bason's shareholding, including beneficial interests, has increased to 10,714 Shares, representing 0.0006% of the Company's issued share capital.
