Compass Group PLC (the "Company") announces the following change in the interests of a Director in ordinary shares of 10 5/8 pence each in the share capital of the Company ("Shares").
On 28 August 2015 Mr Silva, a non-executive director, notified the Company that he had purchased 8,200 Shares in the Company on the same day at a price of 1026.00 pence each per Share. 
Following this purchase, Mr Silva's shareholding of 8,200 Shares represents 0.00048% of the Company's issued share capital.
