Compass Group PLC announces that on 14 July 2015 it purchased 200,000ordinary shares of 105/8penceeachatapriceof1114.1948pencepersharethroughBarclaysCapitalSecuritiesLimited.
Compass Group PLC intends to hold the purchased ordinary shares in treasury.
Following the above transaction, Compass Group PLC holds 4,739,020 of its ordinary shares in treasury and has 1,652,038,362 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
