COMPASS GROUP PLC 
Purchase of own shares
Compass Group PLC announces that on 11 December 2015 it purchased 40,000 ordinary shares of 10 5/8 pence each at a price of 1120.3409 pence per share through Barclays Capital Securities Limited.
Compass Group PLC intends to hold the purchased ordinary shares in treasury.
Following the above transaction, Compass Group PLC holds 11,858,909 of its ordinary shares in treasury and has 1,644,918,473ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
