Purchase of own shares
Compass Group PLC announces that on 14 January 2016 it purchased 40,000 ordinary shares of 10 5/8 pence each at a price of 1135.5181 pence per share through Barclays Capital Securities Limited.
Compass Group PLC intends to hold the purchased ordinary shares in treasury.
Following the above transaction, Compass Group PLC holds 12,262,075 of its ordinary shares in treasury and has 1,644,515,307ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
