Purchase of own shares
Compass Group PLC announces that on 1 February 2016 it purchased 10,000 ordinary shares of 10 5/8 pence each at a price of 1200.9375 pence per share through Barclays Capital Securities Limited.
Compass Group PLC intends to hold the purchased ordinary shares in treasury.
Following the above transaction, Compass Group PLC holds 12,614,683 of its ordinary shares in treasury and has 1,644,162,699ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
