Purchase of own shares
Compass Group PLC announces that on 19 February 2016 it purchased 25,000 ordinary shares of 10 5/8 pence each at a price of 1223.1775 pence per share through Barclays Capital Securities Limited.
Compass Group PLC intends to hold the purchased ordinary shares in treasury.
Following the above transaction, Compass Group PLC holds 12,548,195 of its ordinary shares in treasury and has 1,644,229,187 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
